Thank you for choosing Diva Kakes & More for your custom desserts, sweet treats, and event services. Please review our order policies carefully before booking.

Placing an order with Diva Kakes & More means you agree to the policies outlined below.

Ordering & Booking

Diva Kakes & More currently operates as an online custom-order bakery.

We do not offer walk-in retail shopping at this time.

All orders must be placed in advance through our website inquiry form, approved booking process, or direct invoice/payment arrangement.

Submitting an inquiry does not confirm your order.

Orders are only confirmed once:
✔ Availability has been approved
✔ Deposit/payment has been received
✔ Any required agreements have been completed
✔ Confirmation has been issued by Diva Kakes & More

Order Notice Requirements

Advance notice is strongly recommended.

Suggested timelines:

Custom Cakes: 1–2 weeks
Cupcakes / Sweet Treat Orders: 5–7 days
Dessert Tables / Event Styling: 2–4 weeks
Weddings / Large Events: 4–8+ weeks

Rush orders may be accepted based on availability and may include additional fees.

Retainer Fees & Payments

A Non-refundable Retainer Fee is required to secure your order date.

Suggested payment structure:

Orders under $250: 50% deposit required
Orders $250+: 50% deposit required
Weddings / Large Event Orders: Custom payment schedule may apply

Final balances must be paid in full 7 days prior to the event date, unless otherwise agreed.

Rush orders may require full payment upfront.

Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation.

Pricing

All pricing is subject to change without notice.

Quotes are based on:

design complexity
servings
flavors
décor details
delivery requirements
event services requested

Quotes are valid for the timeframe stated.

Custom Design Policy

Diva Kakes & More specializes in custom handcrafted desserts.

We gladly accept inspiration photos for design reference.

However:

exact duplication of another artist’s work is not guaranteed
handcrafted items may have slight variations
colors may vary slightly due to edible materials and lighting

Creative adjustments may be made to ensure quality and structural integrity.

Allergy Notice

Our products may contain or come into contact with:

milk
eggs
wheat
soy
peanuts
tree nuts
gluten

Please communicate allergy concerns prior to ordering.

We do not guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Pickup Policy

Pickup is by scheduled appointment only.

Pickup details will be provided after confirmation.

Customers are responsible for arriving on time.

Late pickups may affect:

product freshness
scheduling
storage availability

Once an order is picked up and accepted, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Diva Kakes & More is not responsible for damage after pickup.

Transportation recommendation:
Place cakes on a flat, cool surface inside your vehicle.

Avoid:

laps
tilted seats
direct sunlight
hot vehicles

Delivery Policy

Delivery is available for select orders and event services for an additional fee.

Delivery fees are based on:

distance
order size
event timing
setup requirements
venue access complexity

Once delivery has been completed and accepted by the customer, venue, or designated recipient, responsibility transfers to the receiving party.

Event Setup / Dessert/Candy Buffet Tables

Dessert /Cany Buffet tables and event setup services may include:

delivery
setup
decorative display arrangement
signage
décor enhancements
breakdown services (if booked)

Clients are responsible for:

providing accurate venue information
ensuring venue access
securing setup permissions
communicating event timing clearly

Additional charges may apply for extended setup or waiting time.

Order Changes

Changes must be requested as early as possible.

Design changes submitted within 7 days of the event may not be accepted.

Approved changes may result in additional charges.

Examples:

design upgrades
quantity increases
flavor changes
delivery changes
décor additions

Cancellations

Retainer Fees are Non-refundable.

If an order is canceled after confirmation:

payments made may be non-refundable depending on preparation stage
specialty materials already purchased may not be refundable

Date changes may be accommodated based on availability.

Rush Orders

Rush orders are subject to availability.

Rush fees may apply for short-notice bookings.

Examples:

under 7 days notice
under 72 hours notice
same-day requests

Same Day Orders

Same-day availability is limited and not guaranteed.

Custom detailed orders generally require advance scheduling.

Weather / Outdoor Events

Diva Kakes & More is not responsible for product damage caused by:

heat
humidity
weather exposure
improper storage
outdoor conditions
venue mishandling

Outdoor events are accepted at customer risk.

Unforeseen Circumstances

In rare situations beyond our control (illness, emergencies, severe weather, power outages, equipment failure, supply disruptions, transportation issues, etc.), Diva Kakes & More will communicate promptly regarding available options.

Solutions may include:

rescheduling
adjusted delivery timing
alternate arrangements
future credit consideration
refund review if fulfillment becomes impossible

Photography

Diva Kakes & More reserves the right to photograph completed work for:

social media
website portfolio
marketing
promotional use

If privacy is requested for a specific event, please notify us in writing.

Customer's Rseponsibility

Customers are responsible for providing:

accurate contact information
correct event dates/times
delivery details
design selections
allergy disclosures

Diva Kakes & More is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect customer-provided information.
