Diva Kakes & More

Thank you for choosing Diva Kakes & More for your custom desserts, sweet treats, and event services.

Because our products are custom-made, perishable, and created specifically for each customer, please review our refund policy carefully before placing an order.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

Custom Orders & Perishable Products

All products offered by Diva Kakes & More are custom-made and/or perishable.

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are generally final.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • change of mind

  • personal taste preferences

  • incorrect ordering by the customer

  • failure to read product descriptions or policies

  • event cancellation by the customer

  • late pickup by the customer

  • damage occurring after pickup or accepted delivery

  • weather-related damage after transfer of responsibility

  • improper storage or handling by the customer

Retainer Fees

All Retainer Fees are Non-refundable.

Retainer Fees secure:

  • your event date

  • scheduling time

  • design planning

  • ingredient purchasing

  • preparation time

  • reserved production capacity

Retainer Fees cannot be refunded due to customer cancellation, scheduling changes, or order abandonment.

Final Payments

Final payments are generally non-refundable once production has begun.

If specialty supplies, custom décor, edible images, personalized materials, or event-specific inventory have been purchased, those costs are non-refundable.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order:

Please notify Diva Kakes & More as soon as possible.

Refund eligibility depends on timing and production status.

General guidelines:

Before production begins:

Partial refunds may be considered at our discretion, excluding non-refundable Retainer Fees and purchased materials.

After production begins:

No refunds will be issued.

Date Changes / Rescheduling

Date changes may be accommodated based on availability.

Rescheduling is not guaranteed.

Deposits remain non-refundable but may be applied toward a rescheduled order at our discretion if sufficient notice is provided.

Product Quality Concerns

Customer satisfaction matters to us.

If you believe there is an issue with your order related to quality or fulfillment, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery.

To review concerns, we may request:

  • clear photos

  • description of the issue

  • order details

Refunds, credits, or replacement consideration will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

No Refunds foe Personal Preference

Because taste is subjective, refunds will not be issued for:

  • flavor preference

  • texture preference

  • frosting sweetness preference

  • decorative style preferences that match approved design expectations

Pickup Responsibility

Once an order has been picked up and accepted, Diva Kakes & More is not responsible for:

  • transportation damage

  • tipping/sliding

  • melting

  • breakage

  • improper storage

  • handling accidents

Customers assume responsibility upon pickup.

DeliveryResponsibility

Once delivery has been completed and accepted by:

  • the customer

  • event venue

  • designated recipient

Responsibility transfers to the receiving party.

Refunds will not be issued for damage occurring after accepted delivery.

Weather / Outdoor Events

Diva Kakes & More is not responsible for product damage caused by:

  • heat

  • humidity

  • sunlight

  • outdoor exposure

  • weather conditions

  • venue mishandling

Outdoor event dessert stability is the customer’s responsibility once delivery is completed.

Unforeseen Circumstances

In the rare event that Diva Kakes & More is unable to fulfill an order due to circumstances beyond our control, such as:

  • severe illness

  • emergency

  • dangerous weather

  • power outages

  • equipment failure

  • supply shortages

  • transportation disruptions

We will communicate promptly regarding available options, which may include:

  • rescheduling

  • future order credit

  • partial or full refund consideration if fulfillment becomes impossible

Chargebacks / Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Diva Kakes & More first to resolve concerns before initiating payment disputes or chargebacks.

Fraudulent chargebacks for properly fulfilled custom orders may be disputed with supporting documentation.
